ABOUT US
Women in Finance Africa (WIFA) is a pan-African financial empowerment platform focused on advancing financial literacy, investment readiness, and economic participation among women, young girls, and small businesses.
We go beyond financial education to focus on practical financial behaviour change, helping individuals and SMEs build the discipline, systems, and readiness required for financial stability and access to capital.
Our work spans personal finance education for high school and university students, SME financial structuring, investment awareness, and financial inclusion. A key focus is addressing financial literacy at the root, equipping young girls early so they can build strong financial foundations before entering adulthood and the world of work.
WIFA exists to bridge the gap between financial knowledge and real economic outcomes, ensuring women and businesses are not only informed, but financially structured, investment-ready, and capable of engaging with financial systems and funding opportunities.
To build a financially empowered Africa where girls are financially grounded from an early age, women are economically confident, and SMEs are investment-ready, fully participating in and benefiting from financial systems and economic growth.
